Raj for City Council

I’m Raj Narayanan, and I’m running for Dallas City Council in District 13.

Dallas is a great city. It’s people are friendly, it has dynamic businesses and business leaders, and it’s a great place to raise a family. But sometimes this greatness has come in spite of our elected leaders, not because of them.

I’m running to change that. Our City Council should reflect the energy of this city, the vitality of its people, and the growth of its businesses. For too many years we’ve been mired in small minded muck, with leaders who fight over turf and who lack an understanding of the big picture. Instead, we should promote a united vision that supports the key needs of our community and positions Dallas to be a key city in the 21st century economy.

As a private citizen, I’ve worked hard to help make Dallas live up to it’s potential, serving on the city’s Citizen Safety Advisory Board, working in my local Rotary club, even volunteering as a Big Brother… all while running a successful aerospace consulting firm. In my day job, I provide top level expertise to major aerospace corporations, and even help get the next generation into space. But running a city isn’t rocket science — it’s about bringing people together to solve problems — and I’ve got a proven track record of doing just that to get big things done.
